Krice wrote again

In Rogue Hut, Krice wrote again about LambdaRogue. Besides other things, he writes about a strangely non-working NumPad:
maybe because diagonal keys don't work in numpad? I tried both num lock on or off.
Well, NumPad should work with NumLock off, so it would be very helpful if anybody could confirm Krice' notice. Thank you. smileI tested it with a QUERTZ keyboard on three different laptops (all without a real numpad, only a virtual one) and with an external USB keyboard with a real numpad. For me it works in both modes (console and SDL) on Ubuntu 8.04, Windows XP and Windows Vista. The windows console version also works correctly with Wine 1.0 on Linux. If NumPad with NumLock off does not work for you, you can always use Vi-keys as alternative, or reconfigure keybindings.

Under Windows XP

I couldn't find an email address, so I'll post what I found here.

I'm running the game on a desktop, QWERTY keyboard, with Windows XP SP 2, in console mode.

Number lock off -

Only the up-right and down-right keys do not respond (9/PgUp, 3/PgDn).

However, under SDL mode, all keys work properly.

I hope that is helpful. I love all the new changes. Keep up the good

Damn

Thanks for confirming and for the kind words.

In earlier releases, I did not process the PgUp and PgDn keys at all, but in 1.0 I implemented them, mainly for scrolling through questlog pages.

As long as I ignored these two keys, it somehow worked (strangely enough ...). Now of course this is overridden by correct PgUp/PgDn-processing.

So it seems that I have to enable movement by using numbers, i.e. NumPad switched on. *sigh*

By the way, contact options, including e-mail, are shown in the ingame help (accessable by pressing ?).

Fixed.

However, I will wait a while with releasing 1.0.1. Perhaps other things might come up, and I don't want to spam releases too fast.
