Recommended downloads for the current 1.5 release
The installer is the easiest way to get a full LambdaRogue package on your Windows PC. The .tar.gz-archive includes a binary for Linux users.
After you've downloaded and installed or extracted the game, you should also download the current patch. Extract it into your LambdaRogue directory and overwrite all files.

These downloads are additional ways to install LambdaRogue, to get the source code or the music files.

LambdaRogue: The Book of Stars is open source. You can download the FreePascal source code at the project's Google Code site.

GREAT game but...
This game looks amazing, unfortunately, I haven't been able to get past the third dungeon level. Not because of the difficulty, but because it (v 1.4) has a nasty habit of randomly crashing on my PC. I can tell that you've done a great job from what I have seen though.

Simple thanks for a Sci Fi Roguelike
Just found this, haven't seen it, but thankyou for Sci-Fi-ing the Roguelike genre.
Weaned on Nethack, (actually Amulet of Yendor), I endlessly seek a similar Sci-Fi version of such a compelling group of games.
The genre is growing. You are a part. My archives grow and I smile.

Eh, thank you, but ...
... I think you might be disappointed. LR is no Sci-Fi-themed roguelike anymore since the 0.3 release, which changed the theme (spring 2008). Sorry
