- Enchanted Well Hotfix for LambdaRogue 1.6 (corrects a bug with enchanted wells, see this blog entry for details; this hotfix is only for the Windows version)
- .tar.bz2-archive for i386 Linux (without music files; about 94 MB; incl. already the hotfix)
- .dmg image for MacOS (universal binary, including music files and hotfix; about 200 MB)
- .zip-archive for MacOS Lion (patch with an intel-only binary, necessary for running on MacOS Lion. Also includes improved startup script; the main download above is still necessary)

GREAT game but...
This game looks amazing, unfortunately, I haven't been able to get past the third dungeon level. Not because of the difficulty, but because it (v 1.4) has a nasty habit of randomly crashing on my PC. I can tell that you've done a great job from what I have seen though.

Simple thanks for a Sci Fi Roguelike
Just found this, haven't seen it, but thankyou for Sci-Fi-ing the Roguelike genre.
Weaned on Nethack, (actually Amulet of Yendor), I endlessly seek a similar Sci-Fi version of such a compelling group of games.
The genre is growing. You are a part. My archives grow and I smile.
Simply thanks for burning the calories.

Eh, thank you, but ...
... I think you might be disappointed. LR is no Sci-Fi-themed roguelike anymore since the 0.3 release, which changed the theme (spring 2008). Sorry

hey, im new to linux and i dont know how to install it. also, theres no readme file explaining it. could you add it please?

Hi mivh,
extract the downloaded archive.
Then open a terminal (xterm or Gnome terminal or Konsole, depending what desktop environment you're using) and change to the folder where the extracted files are stored in.
Example: If you've extracted the archive to /home/mivh/Downloads/lambdarogue then open the terminal and type cd /home/mivh/Downloads/lambdarogue (replace the path in this example with your actual path). Then type ./lambdarogue and press enter.
