Besides the size of the tiles, I also want to implement more graphical variation to give each dungeon level its own atmosphere. This is to support the gameplay changes I make to the dungeons which will of course be also recognizable in the console version of the game.Note the minimap in the upper left corner of the screenshot.Currently, everything is a bit empty - the bigger size not only supports more graphical detail - it does need it, because it looks blocky and empty if the smaller tiles are just magnified.

Looks good but I thought I'd mention...
Looks great. I love all the improvements, especially the mini-map and larger tiles. I just wanted to mention that, on my CRT monitor, I had to save the screen shot and brighten it up just to see the tiles (blue walls, floor).
Keep up the good work.

Ah, the old brightness problem has come back again. I will increase the brightness of these new blue tiles and of the ash tiles (the floor you see (or don't see) before releasing the next version.
