LambdaRogue 1.6 "Redemption"

Update: The following plans are heavily outdated by spring 2010. While we finally reached  1.5.1 in March 2010, my plans and even the name for a 1.6 release have been changed. I leave this entry, however, for historical reasons. smile

This is to inform you about the next steps in development of LambdaRogue.

A minor patch (1.5.1) will be released in September 2009, fixing some smaller issues, but this is just some polishment.

The next major update (1.6 aka "Redemption" ) is planned for December 2009. It won't bring big changes to the existant content, but it will allow you to continue your quest at the moment where LambdaRogue 1.5 ends -- and you can choose either the good or the evil path (see the main quest spoiler and the "Northdoom" spoiler if you did not finish LambdaRogue yet, but want to be spoiled on good and evil paths). Thus, you will be able to keep your 1.5 savegame or start with a properly skilled and equipped new quickstart preset. LambdaRogue 1.6 will add a whole new 10 level-area to the game where you will finally meet the Drekh'Nar -- the species that was the reason for mankind to live in caves, and depending on your path, this meeting and its consequences will be more or less peaceful.
