I did not work on LambdaRogue since the last blog posting, so since about 1 month. The reason was basically a big lack of time. I have now started to finish the final parts and hopefully I will release 1.5 soon.
It is interesting, by the way, to see download statistics at SourceForge (at least in case they are working ...) I wonder who is still downloading the 1.4 release, and I wonder how big the percentage of people is who actually play the game over a longer period.

I think there is no need to worry about that. If the game is good people will find it eventually. This is really something that roguelike developers should aim for: a great playable game that people actually play![]()

I agree with Krice. Don't even doubt of replayability of your game!! Most of my friend, being oldschool-roguelike-fans as me, enjoy LambdaRogue and spend hours in this realm of dungeons at home, at work, etc. It's obviously clear, that roguelike-games-community can't be so large as in other (even freeware) game development. Because such genre is, most likely, for people, who KNOW what does "roguelike" meen and who put MUCH VALUE upon it.
Your are doing a great job and the one request to you is the following - don't stop developing such a great peace of roguelike RPG. This game do have true community. And please don't give it all up.

Yep, stay with it even if it takes awhile. I'll usually always be at the ready to help out. Just let me know on Roguetemple or some such if you need my email again or whatever. 8 )
